I'm going through a bit of a CAS phase at this stage of the countdown - I honestly find it more challenging to do something Clean and Simple as opposed to elaborate and heavily embellished. So today's projects are 3 CAS cards. Once again to recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. To see my previous countdown projects, click here.
My first card is inspired by the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches 112. It's a very interesting layout and as usual I wanted to put an original spin on it. I could only imagine Santa's sleigh speeding through the snow so that became the them of my card. All the lovely elements are Cameo cut. I also embossed the background with a snowflake design to coincide with the story of the card. The sketch follows my card.
My second card is based on CAS(E) This Sketch 54. I've been wanting to do a Santa belt for the longest time and when I saw the sketch that's just what jumped to mind. The buckle is Cameo Cut and the sketch follows my card.
My third card is inspired by the muse's creation on Case Study Challenges 166. I loved the pinwheel on her creation which follows my card and I decided to incorporate it into my card. I didn't want my card to be too dimensional so just with the red and green card stock, I created the pinwheel effect.
That wraps up Day 16!!! I had a great time with these, hope you liked them too!
