Today is Day 9 and I had a blast making cards with some new Christmassy embossing folders that came in the mail yesterday. Once again to recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. To see my previous Countdown projects, click here.
Here is my first card. I've seen many Christmas handmade cards with buttons as ornaments and I've always loved the idea and always wanted to try it out. I was waiting for my ornament embossing folder to come in and when it did, this is the first card I made. One side has the ornament embossing and the other side has the button ornaments. Isn't it adorable? Entering this one into Alphabet Challenge Blog - T for Twine and Craftitude Challenge - Use Twine or String
My next card features another fabulous embossing folder. The design embossed is a cursive Merry Christmas and again I've embossed just half the card to show off the design. I added some holly leaves with red crystal stickers. Linking this one to CAS-ual Fridays 119 - Embossing.
My third card has a lovely snowflake embossed design and to further bring out the snowflakes, I cut a pretty silver snowflake with my cameo. A few pearls to glamourise the card completed the design and voila I was done. Linking this one to Allsorts Challenge Blog - White Christmas
It was such a pleasure doing these 3 cards because I've really been conceptualising the designs since I first ordered these embossing folders. Having them finally in my hands, I was able to put my cards together in a flash and I'm pretty kicked with the outcome! Woo Hoo!

These are beautiful examples of the CAS style. The white embossing looks so elegant and the pops of colour are delightful. I especially like how you embossed only a part of each base. Love the button ornaments :) Thanks for joining our Anything Goes/Use twine challenge this fortnight at Craftitude. I hope we see you again soon.
