<div style="text-align: justify;">
We at <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/" target="_blank">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a> take great pride in saying that we have the most awesome customers. It's been almost 2 years since we began and in that time we have built up a client base of over 800 individual customers. Some are business customers who order from us to serve their customers and others of course are end consumers who are looking for something perfect for the special event in their lives. And since this is our second year, we have so many of our wonderful clients coming back for subsequent orders</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
During the course of all these interactions we had the privilege of working with a truly stellar individual. She is the kind of customer who has a fair idea about what she wants and is able to communicate that clearly. She also understands the effort involved in bringing such creations to life and values this effort. Over the last 14 months, we have worked together on three separate events and each time her vision is super interesting and through our collaborative discussions, we are able to create something truly memorable.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BuzeXm-IlQU/VrIuvlnOz8I/AAAAAAAAPkc/YIx4t53HDK4/s1600/IMG_2207.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="440" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BuzeXm-IlQU/VrIuvlnOz8I/AAAAAAAAPkc/YIx4t53HDK4/s640/IMG_2207.JPG" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It all began with her daughter's first birthday. The theme was Rainbow and she had a totally original vision in mind. She didn't want the theme to be literal - a rainbow shape - rather an interpretation of the colours. She loved the idea of a pop up card with a pocket style envelope and after a bunch of back and forth, we finalised on a fabulous <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Baby/Rainbow-Spiral-Pop-Up--25-pk-id-1115541.html" target="_blank">Rainbow Spiral Pop-up Card</a> which has been a design that we will be perennially proud of!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XYVCifFdWP4/VrIvDXiFSbI/AAAAAAAAPks/s-PYV37LgFQ/s1600/IMG_2209.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XYVCifFdWP4/VrIvDXiFSbI/AAAAAAAAPks/s-PYV37LgFQ/s320/IMG_2209.JPG" width="263" /></a> <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DOXGxhotBQ0/VrIvCVZlGtI/AAAAAAAAPko/b_6vPxXddZo/s1600/IMG_2208.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DOXGxhotBQ0/VrIvCVZlGtI/AAAAAAAAPko/b_6vPxXddZo/s320/IMG_2208.JPG" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
The <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Baby/Rainbow-Spiral-Pop-Up--25-pk-id-1115541.html" target="_blank">Rainbow Pop Up Spiral Card</a> has been ordered by numerous clients on our <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/" target="_blank">website</a> and we have also been asked to tweak it to a bling balloon theme for another very supportive client. Check out how we played with the design to create a <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Baby/Pink-Bling-Spiral-Pop-Up-Invitation-25-pk-id-2090125.html" target="_blank">Pink Bling Spiral Pop Up Invitation</a>!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="376" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jF3-hTnwNLU/VrI10W8IY5I/AAAAAAAAPlU/pGro_ws8dMs/s400/IMG_2950.JPG" width="400" /></div>
<br />
Our next project together was a wedding anniversary party for her close friends which was to be an elaborate affair spanning 2-3 days. The theme was King and Queen of Hearts and she wanted a gift box as well as an invitation card. We agreed that the colours should be red, black and white and this time around our discussions focussed on the deck of cards concept. After a whole lot of Whatsapp messages, back and forth, we finally froze on the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Diwali/Diwali-Cards-Gift-Box-Red---Black---8-pack-id-1821605.html" target="_blank">Deck of Cards Box</a> and <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Diwali/Diwali-Cards-Party-Invitation---8-pack-id-1821639.html" target="_blank">Deck of Cards Invitation</a> both pictured pictured below!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AQpBc_9a5Sw/VrIujnysWJI/AAAAAAAAPkY/VqX-1hKid4o/s1600/IMG_1170.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AQpBc_9a5Sw/VrIujnysWJI/AAAAAAAAPkY/VqX-1hKid4o/s320/IMG_1170.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Crx3jH_-ll0/VrIuvuHctdI/AAAAAAAAPkg/W9R1XKQTzfo/s1600/IMG_1321_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Crx3jH_-ll0/VrIuvuHctdI/AAAAAAAAPkg/W9R1XKQTzfo/s320/IMG_1321_2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Diwali/Diwali-Cards-Gift-Box-Red---Black---8-pack-id-1821605.html" target="_blank">Deck of Cards Box</a> was so attractive that we decided to make it one of designs for Diwali. We tweaked the colours a little and created a variety of sizes and voila! we had a brand new <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Diwali/Diwali-Cards-Night-Gift-Box---8-pk-id-1765943.html" target="_blank">Diwali Cards Nigh Box</a>. We have to say that this design was one of our most popular for the festive season!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xM75D0UtfIg/VrIxFfXH3mI/AAAAAAAAPlE/-ZHT3Y-mLH8/s1600/IMG_2338_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="578" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xM75D0UtfIg/VrIxFfXH3mI/AAAAAAAAPlE/-ZHT3Y-mLH8/s640/IMG_2338_2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Now comes our favourite design! With her daughter turning two, this amazing client had another fantastic idea for her little one's big day. This time the theme was <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Birthdays/Teddybear-Picnic-Invitation---Pack-of-12-id-2090124.html" target="_blank">Teddybear's Picnic</a>!! How cute is that!! Her idea was simply inspired!! She wanted each invitation to be a picnic basket. Inside the picnic basket would be little shaped cut outs of picnic food items and on the reverse side of each food item, we would add the details of the party text. OH... MY... GOD!!! How we LOVED the idea!! All we had to do was execute!! We found a fabulous file at <a href="http://www.myscrapchick.com/">www.myscrapchick.com</a> and had a blast playing with the colours and prints. Check out the final result - We're super proud of this one - The <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Birthdays/Teddybear-Picnic-Invitation---Pack-of-12-id-2090124.html" target="_blank">Teddy Bear Picnic Party Invitation</a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K6G3Nb9iE3w/VrIvNrHLYjI/AAAAAAAAPk0/9EEWOCbfdPk/s1600/IMG_3012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K6G3Nb9iE3w/VrIvNrHLYjI/AAAAAAAAPk0/9EEWOCbfdPk/s320/IMG_3012.JPG" width="291" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9Oni8GSOJEc/VrIvO0fchyI/AAAAAAAAPk4/AFm-fE9B33A/s1600/IMG_3013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9Oni8GSOJEc/VrIvO0fchyI/AAAAAAAAPk4/AFm-fE9B33A/s640/IMG_3013.JPG" width="580" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What more can we say! She truly is the Perfect Client! She has the best ideas, she is open to all our suggestions, she always gives us PLENTY of time and she values the effort that goes into each creation! Thanks to her we have fabulous designs to add to the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/" target="_blank">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a> catalogue and for that we will be forever indebted!! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Needless to say, we are so glad she found us back in 2014!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ddF6MjHI6ug/VqHYerNJzAI/AAAAAAAAPjQ/likZLDd9Tmk/s1600/IMG_2863.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ddF6MjHI6ug/VqHYerNJzAI/AAAAAAAAPjQ/likZLDd9Tmk/s640/IMG_2863.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Valentines Day is coming up and no matter how cynical you are about romance, love and relationships, it's hard not to get sucked into the season. I have been married for 12 years and prior to that I was dating my future husband for 4.5 years so basically we have celebrated Valentines Day for almost 17 years!! I should really be suffering from Valentines Day fatigue but thanks to <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/" target="_blank">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a>, I find myself getting caught up in all the lovey-dovey madness just like I did 17 years ago!!</div>
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cdkE74w5MUk/VqHYbS0Lb1I/AAAAAAAAPjI/eCXlkfSUJ80/s1600/IMG_2864.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cdkE74w5MUk/VqHYbS0Lb1I/AAAAAAAAPjI/eCXlkfSUJ80/s320/IMG_2864.JPG" width="320" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Our most popular gift for Valentines Day is the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Romantic-Gifts/Our-Story-Scrapbook-id-2040034.html" target="_blank">Our Story Scrapbook</a>. This book is a love scrapbook which measures 12 inches by 12 inches and allows the customer to record 10 details about his or her relationship. The book usually starts with How We Met, and moves on to First Movie, Our Engagement, Our Wedding, Gifts We've Given and so on. With plenty of space provided to add photos or pen down personal notes, the<a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Romantic-Gifts/Our-Story-Scrapbook-id-2040034.html" target="_blank"> Our Love Story Scrapbook</a> is a truly meaningful Valentines Day gift.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gBsraXMLgHY/VqHYyilY66I/AAAAAAAAPjY/T0cSdbx4Scs/s1600/IMG_2865.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gBsraXMLgHY/VqHYyilY66I/AAAAAAAAPjY/T0cSdbx4Scs/s320/IMG_2865.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The best part about the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Romantic-Gifts/Our-Story-Scrapbook-id-2040034.html" target="_blank">Our Love Story Scrapbook</a> is that it can be customised. We don't insist on a standard set of topics because we are well aware that each relationship is unique and merits its own list of headings. So whenever we receive an order we always ask the client for their inputs. We have a list of commonly used topics, but these are by no means the only choices. Very often we get a brand new heading that we are happy to incorporate into the book.</div>
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-f-07Gm4bsWA/VqHX7Kc6wYI/AAAAAAAAPio/QwgEEre4t4g/s1600/IMG_1236_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-f-07Gm4bsWA/VqHX7Kc6wYI/AAAAAAAAPio/QwgEEre4t4g/s320/IMG_1236_2.JPG" width="316" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another other factor that can be customised is the colour scheme. Originally made in the romantic colours of red, white and black, we have received requests to do the book in softer tones of cream, pink and red as well as silver and white. Sometimes the client wants the cover changed. Other times 10 pages isn't enough to record all the details they want to include in the book. In such cases we are happy to add the extra pages to ensure the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Romantic-Gifts/Our-Story-Scrapbook-id-2040034.html" target="_blank">Our Story Love Scrapbook</a> contains all the important facet of that particular Love Story!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HRYBo0ZhVjg/VqHX7sJoFUI/AAAAAAAAPis/xcnavnwKTBM/s1600/IMG_1237_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="296" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HRYBo0ZhVjg/VqHX7sJoFUI/AAAAAAAAPis/xcnavnwKTBM/s320/IMG_1237_2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This scrapbook is also ideal as a gift too. We have received requests to make the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Romantic-Gifts/Our-Story-Scrapbook-id-2040034.html" target="_blank">Our Love Story Scrapbook</a> as a wedding gift or anniversary gift by well meaning friends or family members, who want to give something different and sentimental on such special occasions!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And if you think that this is something that is primarily ordered by women, you would be wrong. There are some SERIOUSLY romantic men out there who want to make their lady love feel truly cherished. We have even received an order from an Indian man living in the United States who wanted us to ship the scrapbook to his girlfriend here in India. How romantic is that!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

One of our perennially popular products at <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/" target="_blank">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a> is a handmade photo album. I think this is particularly interesting given that we are in a digital of age of storing only electronic photos. Printing photos has become so rare that presenting someone an exquisite handmade album filled with meaningful photos has become a fabulous gift solution. And fortunately we at <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/" target="_blank">Crack of Dawn Crafts </a>are in the right place at the right time because we make a LOT of exquisite, handmade albums!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RFfBV04L1Uo/Vp0UWonaDeI/AAAAAAAAPhA/wxtJkl1WBSM/s1600/IMG_2028.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="356" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RFfBV04L1Uo/Vp0UWonaDeI/AAAAAAAAPhA/wxtJkl1WBSM/s400/IMG_2028.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
We recently received a query from a client who wanted a couple of albums to collect pictures for memories. The most popular designs were shared - the rose bordered <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/General/Precious-Memories-Album---Red---Black-id-1107055.html" target="_blank">Precious Memories Albums </a>usually hit the spot. These are available in almost any colour combination, the most popular being <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Romantic/Precious-Memories-Album---Red-and-White-id-1107058.html" target="_blank">Red and White</a> and <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/General/Precious-Memories-Album---Cream-and-White-id-1107056.html" target="_blank">Cream and White</a>. As with all our albums, they come with 10 pages, 20 sides, 4 tags and a keepsake box.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EtQuwN51s-o/Vp0UWZTcR1I/AAAAAAAAPg8/y24SLBaW7XU/s1600/IMG_7700.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="232" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EtQuwN51s-o/Vp0UWZTcR1I/AAAAAAAAPg8/y24SLBaW7XU/s320/IMG_7700.JPG" width="320" /></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NeR4v-qwLak/Vp0UVOT4QvI/AAAAAAAAPg0/TrRNjwWbL_U/s1600/IMG_2024.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NeR4v-qwLak/Vp0UVOT4QvI/AAAAAAAAPg0/TrRNjwWbL_U/s320/IMG_2024.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">Surprisingly the client was not totally satisfied. She wanted to see more designs. So we shared with her pictures of the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/For-Girls/Princess-Diary-Album-id-1107052.html" target="_blank">Princess Diaries album</a> which is also a fabulous option for young girls, best friends or sisters. Each page is decorated with a princess element making it very girly.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AzPUdlFH8uo/Vp0Ua2OW9CI/AAAAAAAAPhM/fbmzYr9L-eQ/s1600/IMG_7703.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AzPUdlFH8uo/Vp0Ua2OW9CI/AAAAAAAAPhM/fbmzYr9L-eQ/s400/IMG_7703.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">This too did not seem to work. We were quite stumped so we started discussing more. What is the purpose of the album? She wanted it for herself. What is her style aesthetic? She loves Shabby Chic or Vintage colours. Unfortunately we didn't have anything else to share in the album category but we had a couple of options in the scrapbook category.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--PMl3XjX8Pk/Vp0U4SPEtPI/AAAAAAAAPhg/m1h3qus4XfQ/s1600/IMG_3463.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" /><img border="0" height="270" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--PMl3XjX8Pk/Vp0U4SPEtPI/AAAAAAAAPhg/m1h3qus4XfQ/s400/IMG_3463.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">One was the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/For-Mom/Diary-of-a-Doting-Mom-Scrapbook---copy-id-1136392.html" target="_blank">Diary of a Doting Mom scrapbook </a>which is just perfect to present to a loving mother. It chronicles the life of a mom from motherhood to grand-motherhood. A tear came to the eyes of many a mom thanks to this spectacular gift.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

<br />
The other option was the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Baby/Half-Size-Baby-Girl-Scrapbook---Pink-and-Lavender-id-1107232.html" target="_blank">Lavender and Pink Baby Scrapbook</a>. Truly muted and extremely gentle, the soft pastel combination of lavender and pink combined with all the baby features in the book, make it a perfect keepsake for a precious little baby. Originally commissioned by a grandmother for her first grandchild, it has since become a popular choice for moms of newborn baby girls.<br />
<br />
Our client LOVED these scrapbooks. It seemed to be just what she was looking for. We were thrilled! No worries we said - we can customise your albums to look like these scrapbooks! And here is the final result.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">And that's how two of the prettiest albums we have made became part of the fabulous range of <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Albums-depid-414213-page-1.html" target="_blank">Crack of Dawn Crafts albums</a>. We have called them <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/General/Pearly-Lavender-Album-id-2050941.html" target="_blank">The Pearly Lavender Album</a> and <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/General/English-Garden-Album-id-2050942.html" target="_blank">The English Garden Album</a>. The designs are so versatile that they can be used as a romantic gift, a gift for a friend, a gift for a sister/ mother or even teacher perhaps! And as a designer, I must acknowledge that some of my best designs come from my fabulous clients!</span></div>
<br />
Do you like the new albums that we designed? Drop a line, we would love to know what you think.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
A few months ago we were tasked with the challenge of creating a Jungle Theme invitation. A client who had seen a <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a> creation through another client contacted us from Nanital to order invitations for her son's first birthday. We hadn't yet done a jungle theme invitation so we were super kicked with the theme!! The brief was simple - We needed to design 2 versions, one had to be 3D that could also fold flat for easy postage to out of town guests and the second version needed to be an elaborate 3d invitation for local city guests. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The immediate thought was lush foresty greens, cute brightly coloured animals and a pop of yellow to contrast! Wow wouldn't that be fun!! We created two fold flat designs. One was a <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Birthdays/Jungle-Frame-Card---25-PK-id-1650525.html">Jungle shadow box frame invitation</a> and the other was a <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Birthdays/Jungle-3D-Box-Card---25-PK-id-1650452.html">Jungle Box Card</a> design. Both versions could fold flat and both were made with the same colour family. We just LOVED my creations and was sure my client would be ecstatic too!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lL1EtFRHAbo/VpfLi5cEZ4I/AAAAAAAAPeE/Ko_dfNP4W9s/s1600/IMG_1754.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /><img border="0" height="308" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lL1EtFRHAbo/VpfLi5cEZ4I/AAAAAAAAPeE/Ko_dfNP4W9s/s320/IMG_1754.JPG" width="320" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2Pr9ET6ZDP8/VpfLvcRSiJI/AAAAAAAAPek/WohCaPURkHk/s1600/IMG_1777.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2Pr9ET6ZDP8/VpfLvcRSiJI/AAAAAAAAPek/WohCaPURkHk/s320/IMG_1777.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Sadly it was not quite the case. The client had something totally different in mind. She wanted a jungle theme yes but she wanted to be more babyish, more pastel and more gentle. She wanted 'animals' more than 'jungle'. Boy were we disappointed, we really thought we had hit a home run with my jungly designs. But back to the drawing board we went determined to create something spectacular for this special event!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This time around we created a <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Baby/Animal-3D-Box-Card---25-PK-id-1650674.html">Animal Box Card</a> that was was soft and sweet, just as the client had ordered. We used the most adorable baby animal pattern and combined it with blue and yellow card. Animals popped out of everywhere and a bold number 1 stood at the front! All the party details went on the reverse side of the card. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7_sO2TrgIr4/VpfL2UF4KAI/AAAAAAAAPfE/gLDXQ2LtiqM/s1600/IMG_1797_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7_sO2TrgIr4/VpfL2UF4KAI/AAAAAAAAPfE/gLDXQ2LtiqM/s320/IMG_1797_2.JPG" width="232" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4w0_lDVly-Q/VpfL0mR1VFI/AAAAAAAAPe8/r5ZsSlvz5r0/s1600/IMG_1796_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4w0_lDVly-Q/VpfL0mR1VFI/AAAAAAAAPe8/r5ZsSlvz5r0/s320/IMG_1796_2.JPG" width="247" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Now this WAS a home run. The client was totally delighted and gave the go ahead for production. We had also created a <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/Birthdays/Animal-Explosion-Box---25-PK-id-1650841.html">Animal Explosion Box</a> design with the central 3D element being a baby cot filled with animal cut outs. She was thrilled with this too and we were a GO!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TVtAksnyZeU/VpfLrEApZWI/AAAAAAAAPeU/4W4ktzUop8Q/s1600/IMG_1793.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TVtAksnyZeU/VpfLrEApZWI/AAAAAAAAPeU/4W4ktzUop8Q/s320/IMG_1793.JPG" width="293" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ry-vNf4hXQE/VpfLwI7engI/AAAAAAAAPes/pcW9ri0QlIU/s1600/IMG_1794.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ry-vNf4hXQE/VpfLwI7engI/AAAAAAAAPes/pcW9ri0QlIU/s320/IMG_1794.JPG" width="274" /></a><br />
<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">We churned out about 100 invitations for this event and they were a total hit with the guests! The client was over the moon with the cards and called to tell us that almost every person she gave it to wanted to know who had made it. Of course she said <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a>. Right now we are working on a wedding card design for her brother! Exciting times ahead!!</span><br />
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--e98ExdZbBQ/VpfLv8KJ0eI/AAAAAAAAPeo/RD91-_aRw_k/s1600/IMG_1795_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="377" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--e98ExdZbBQ/VpfLv8KJ0eI/AAAAAAAAPeo/RD91-_aRw_k/s640/IMG_1795_2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Since <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/">Crack of Dawn Crafts</a> was born there have been countless designs that have been rejected. Sometimes we lose an entire order because we are just not able to get the design right. Of course it is tremendously disappointing when a design is rejected but the good news is that whatever we make forms part of the <a href="http://www.crackofdawncrafts.in/">Crack of Dawn Crafts catalogue</a>! And now 2 years on, we have a product range of close to 400 designs!<br />
<br />
Which of the designs did you prefer? The lush jungle version or the pastel baby one? Would love to hear your views, do leave a comment and let's compare notes!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
It has been a while - almost 2 years since my last blog post and whew... a lot has happened since then. In April 2014, I decided to make my crafting hobby a professional enterprise. In a nutshell, it meant that no longer would I be a full-time mom of 2, crafting for fun, but rather an entrepreneur struggling to juggle the demands of a fledgling business and the needs of my two little monsters. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4A9h_8dZkd8/VpKcZjKwjZI/AAAAAAAAPb0/kbbuZCZIIHs/s1600/Craft%2BTable.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4A9h_8dZkd8/VpKcZjKwjZI/AAAAAAAAPb0/kbbuZCZIIHs/s320/Craft%2BTable.jpg" width="196" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4A9h_8dZkd8/VpKcZjKwjZI/AAAAAAAAPb0/kbbuZCZIIHs/s1600/Craft%2BTable.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"> </a> <img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K2YoZcgA0mM/VpKcZiwQPwI/AAAAAAAAPbw/9QmcR5mDs4c/s400/Craft%2BTable%2B2.jpg" width="400" /></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I began, I was a one-woman-shop working from my craft table at home to service the orders I received. Since my kids were still quite small, I was always crafting late at night hence the name of my business. I created a Facebook page and starting getting orders via Facebook and Whatsapp. As the work started coming in, I hired one girl to help and very soon after I needed a second girl. They worked from my dining table. My craft materials found place in all sorts of makeshift locations including my mom's garage and for a while we were ok. But very soon, by August 2015<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;"> </span><span class="il" style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">Crack</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222;"> of </span><span class="il" style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">Dawn</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222;"> </span><span class="il" style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">Crafts</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222;"> </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">became too big to operate from home. I needed to hire more staff, needed more space for my materials and needed my house to become a home again!</span></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8uaMcp-L0aQ/VpKd5Aq7wlI/AAAAAAAAPcg/lX8sf5OTdlY/s1600/IMG_9592.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8uaMcp-L0aQ/VpKd5Aq7wlI/AAAAAAAAPcg/lX8sf5OTdlY/s640/IMG_9592.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; text-align: justify;">Very fortuitously I found a studio space right next door to my apartment and grabbed it in a heartbeat. I decided since I was just starting out, it was better to hire rather than purchase furniture to fill it up. I set up the equipment, hired more girls, lined up my suppliers, negotiated special rates for services like printing and couriers and while all this was going on, Crack of Dawn Crafts was building up a fabulous customer base.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T0zsq3ks3iE/VpKbRdzB5pI/AAAAAAAAPbU/axM58t8PT-A/s1600/IMG_9252.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T0zsq3ks3iE/VpKbRdzB5pI/AAAAAAAAPbU/axM58t8PT-A/s640/IMG_9252.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But... It sure was hectic! It was CRAZY hectic! I found myself working ALL...THE....TIME!!! I was designing new projects and managing production of confirmed projects. I was running to the printer, the paper supplier and the courier office all day. I worked from 5am to midnight 7 days a week! It was INSANE, excruciating but very very exciting! With each crazy day I was learning something new and this knowledge became the experience I desperately needed to build this entity.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today 2 years on, the landscape has changed. We are not a one-woman-shop anymore but a team of six employees all of who are really good at their work. My girls (God bless them) turned out to be wonderful additions to the business and it is due to their painstaking attention to detail that we are able to take on large bulk orders and deliver them without any compromise on quality. Gratefully I am no longer so overworked. One of my original staff members turned out to be a total rockstar and she has become the supervisor of the studio, managing production. Another girl handles packaging, another quality control and another takes care of purchasing. I hired a office boy/ driver to do all the running around and with that there were finally more hours in the day. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F9il_jRGJ0w/VpKcaiDaiyI/AAAAAAAAPcA/17M6ExVhQyQ/s1600/studio%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F9il_jRGJ0w/VpKcaiDaiyI/AAAAAAAAPcA/17M6ExVhQyQ/s640/studio%2B1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My role has become more of designer rather than producer. I fi<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">gure out what the client wants, design something to match her </span></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; text-align: left;">requirement, then show it to my fabulous team and they re-create it in bulk. In this way we are able to take on more custom work because I don't have to worry about production at all. The team takes care of that while I focus on designing. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">The sales channels have also </span><span style="color: #222222;">widened</span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;"> greatly. We have our own dynamic website where customers can place orders and pay online. Crack of Dawn Crafts products are listed on 3 major marketplaces with umpteen more in the pipeline and collaborations with a number of event planners, chocolatiers, bakers and other linked businesses. Also with it being our second year in business, we have so many repeat customers who have come back for the Crack of Dawn Crafts touch!</span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>

<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; text-align: left;">It has been fun. It has been nerve wracking. It has been INTENSELY rewarding. And I would say it is JUST beginning. There are so many ideas I want to implement, so many avenues I want to attempt and so many opportunities I want to explore!</span></div>

And blog about it every step of the way as that's what the focus of this blog is going to be from now on!! 2016 is going to be the year where we take a moment to reflect on the highs and lows of the week and what better way to do it that with the blog that started it all. So stay tuned as we share snippets of the journey which will hopefully be interesting... and ..... regular!</span></span></div>

I am in the process of re-organizing my craft room and I came across a variety of items that I have never used or rarely used and don't plan on using again. I was thinking how best to bid them farewell and figured I would hand them over as candy to new crafters looking to build up their collection of craft supplies.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kDSrZYnrWl8/UwRQzickTMI/AAAAAAAAF3o/9LvIlRYAW-4/s1600/Destashing+Candy+Photo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kDSrZYnrWl8/UwRQzickTMI/AAAAAAAAF3o/9LvIlRYAW-4/s1600/Destashing+Candy+Photo.jpg" height="640" width="536" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So if you are a new crafter, then this collection of craft supplies is up for grabs!! Bear in mind some of these items have been used sparingly but some are completely untouched.<br />
<br />
<b>Definition of a New Crafter</b><br />
<br />
1. Your blog is less than 3 months old as of 19th Feb 2014<br />
<br />
OR<br />
<br />
2. Your blog may be more than 3 months old but you have published less than 12 blog posts as of 19th Feb 2014.<br />
<br />
OR<br />
<br />
3. You don't have a blog at all. If so, please create a blog so that you can participate in this candy.<br />
<br />
4. Most of all you should consider yourself a new crafter.<br />
<br />
I don't want to make things too complicated and I hope that no one will mislead their fellow crafters. We all know how excited we were when we started crafting and how we wanted to purchase so many things and we never had the money for it. So I'm hoping this candy will give one such crafter a boost to building stash of craft supplies. Also by adding their name to the linky, I'm also hoping it will help new crafters spread the word about their blog.<br />
<br />
Here's what you need to do to enter the draw for this candy.<br />
<br />
1. Make sure you are a new crafter as defined by the criteria above.<br />
<br />
2. Be a follower of this blog<br />
<br />
3. Enter your name with a link to your blog on the linky provided below.<br />
<br />
4. Save a picture of this candy with a link back to this post on your blog sidebar.<br />
<br />
5. Complete all these tasks by 14th March 2014. I choose a winner by Random Number Generation on 15th March 2014.<br />
<br />
Note: Since the package will be heavy with the punches, I cannot ship overseas.<br />
<br />
<b>To all my experienced crafter friends - would LOVE for you to help spread the word by adding a picture of this candy on your sidebar or sharing it on your Facebook pages or even writing a post about it so that more new crafters come to know of it!</b><br />

<br />
If you've been following my Facebook page and blog, you will know that last week I participated in the Hundred Hands Collective IV - by Hundred Hands. Hundred Hands is this fabulous NGO that encourages and supports artisans both urban and rural, who make hand made products. They help them establish their business, develop contacts, provide advice and occasionally, hold a bazaar to help them sell their stuff. I was grateful to be invited for their event and here are some photographs of my stall.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iGsnEdmxKgY/Up_srggsrTI/AAAAAAAAFS8/W7h62zGeJls/s1600/IMG_4468.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iGsnEdmxKgY/Up_srggsrTI/AAAAAAAAFS8/W7h62zGeJls/s400/IMG_4468.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My dear friend Reshna sat with me the entire day and did some serious hard selling much to my amusement and delight. And dear friends who always support my work like Gitanjali here was one of the first to stop by and pick her favourites. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hpkfAMPyJVw/Up_s2UA9ssI/AAAAAAAAFUY/k_GGciDCpEM/s1600/photo-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hpkfAMPyJVw/Up_s2UA9ssI/AAAAAAAAFUY/k_GGciDCpEM/s400/photo-1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I had visiting cards made!!! How important I felt. Ha ha! But I'm glad I did, so many people picked it up even though the didn't buy anything or even look at anything. What's up with that?!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fhXmXFpKUZo/Up_suPO9F4I/AAAAAAAAFTQ/MC-iLIUK2aE/s1600/IMG_4475.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fhXmXFpKUZo/Up_suPO9F4I/AAAAAAAAFTQ/MC-iLIUK2aE/s320/IMG_4475.jpg" width="240" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Rn-GFg85y4g/Up_sxV9IcfI/AAAAAAAAFTs/RXNn9EIxVzg/s1600/IMG_4479.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Rn-GFg85y4g/Up_sxV9IcfI/AAAAAAAAFTs/RXNn9EIxVzg/s320/IMG_4479.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I made a wonderful little card stand for each of my cards so that they could stand upright and be seen easily. They would also not occupy much space on my table as they would if they were lying down allowing more cards to be displayed.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I had been hanging on to creations for some time. Don't know when I made these masks but stuff like that and the notebooks, they all sold within an hour to ladies with little girls who they knew would love it. I tell you sometimes I think my greatest market is 5 to 8 year old girls. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tP927ppuW5Q/Up_sw6y2AUI/AAAAAAAAFTo/pxT-Y4pMOM0/s1600/IMG_4478.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tP927ppuW5Q/Up_sw6y2AUI/AAAAAAAAFTo/pxT-Y4pMOM0/s400/IMG_4478.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This was my tag and table decor section. I had made dining labels, cutlery holders, 3D sleighs. Everything was gone by the end of the day. </div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jAImGV8_5FM/Up_s0-Dk3wI/AAAAAAAAFUQ/KHAqnCZ8w8Y/s1600/IMG_4483.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jAImGV8_5FM/Up_s0-Dk3wI/AAAAAAAAFUQ/KHAqnCZ8w8Y/s400/IMG_4483.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
And here's how my stall looked at about 4pm - half way through the sale. My table was quickly clearing up and I was running out of stock to sell. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y6GtL-lK6ow/Up_s2lNnpXI/AAAAAAAAFUg/eySNuUMwcp8/s1600/IMG_4488.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y6GtL-lK6ow/Up_s2lNnpXI/AAAAAAAAFUg/eySNuUMwcp8/s640/IMG_4488.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I wish I had taken a picture at the end of the sale but I forgot. I was left with 10 Christmas cards and 2 general cards. All the rest - tags, gifts etc were sold. All in all a very very very fun and productive day!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Thank you so much to Hundred Hands for letting me be a part of their fabulous event. I was delighted and honoured and motivated to pursue this even more!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">It's Day 30 and the final day of my countdown. Can't believe how quickly and craftily the month has passed and can't believe I managed to stick to this goal. Once again t</span><span style="color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. </span></span><b style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><u>My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. </u></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;">They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. To see my previous countdown projects, <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/search/label/Christmas%20Countdown%202013">click here</a>. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My final project to share is a last batch of ornament cards. They're the same design as my red and white ornament cards which<a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/2013/12/day-27-of-sunehras-christmas-craft.html"> you can view here</a> but in a different colour scheme. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8uT-PSoOC3g/UpossfZVFoI/AAAAAAAAFPw/CAR4wjEpxG8/s1600/IMG_4458.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8uT-PSoOC3g/UpossfZVFoI/AAAAAAAAFPw/CAR4wjEpxG8/s320/IMG_4458.jpg" width="273" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M8wXVpNr6EI/UposqLOpWeI/AAAAAAAAFPg/EbelETLI98Y/s1600/IMG_4455.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M8wXVpNr6EI/UposqLOpWeI/AAAAAAAAFPg/EbelETLI98Y/s320/IMG_4455.jpg" width="236" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I used a lot of paper from the DCWV Evergreen Stack which was really bright and festive. I added giant bows and ribbons to add to the detail and loads of crystal stickers to glamourise them. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kIYrajuTd3Y/Uposr-TImdI/AAAAAAAAFPs/GPpe4m1mzME/s1600/IMG_4457.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kIYrajuTd3Y/Uposr-TImdI/AAAAAAAAFPs/GPpe4m1mzME/s320/IMG_4457.jpg" width="240" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XvOZf2jVb_Y/UposrepvVwI/AAAAAAAAFPo/iYWwVjj-DJc/s1600/IMG_4456.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XvOZf2jVb_Y/UposrepvVwI/AAAAAAAAFPo/iYWwVjj-DJc/s320/IMG_4456.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
My ornament tags sold very well at the Hundred Hands Event. I was delighted that this idea was well received. I made about 30 and have just a couple to bring home.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So that wraps up my Christmas Craft Countdown for 2013. I started out thinking I was crazy to do this and perhaps I was, but it really got me crafting a lot and getting ready for the festive season - my favourite time of the year. Now as December begins, I'm going to be spending it baking mostly but crafting too, of course till the crack of dawn!</div>
<br />
Thanks for coming along on this journey and see you around the Blogosphere!<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">My project for Day 29 is one of my favourite projects of the countdown. I think it's such a darling idea and I'm so delighted I was able to complete them in time. Once again t</span><span style="color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. </span></span><b style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><u>My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. </u></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;">They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The idea of this project is to add a little festive fun to any Christmas party. It's simple enough, not too detailed and elaborate but all the same so festive! Slip your napkins and silverware into these little pockets and suddenly the table will be transformed. At my sale during the Hundred Hands Event people were saying that this is only for sit down dinners but I disagree, you can use them for buffet style parties too, which is what I will be doing. I finally sold all 30 and even received an order for 15 more!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pCo8Pv_9Mwo/Uporxi4XGnI/AAAAAAAAFPU/j4064HLMKGw/s1600/IMG_4441.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pCo8Pv_9Mwo/Uporxi4XGnI/AAAAAAAAFPU/j4064HLMKGw/s400/IMG_4441.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
With the same Santa belt theme in mind I made a set of tags as neat and as crisp as the cutlery holders. It's not clearly visible but the black belt is actually laced through the white buckle, so when you look at it in real life, you can see the detail. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1zxBJ0uElyM/UporwL_OtLI/AAAAAAAAFPE/Oi9jkNqXaN4/s1600/IMG_4432.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="442" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1zxBJ0uElyM/UporwL_OtLI/AAAAAAAAFPE/Oi9jkNqXaN4/s640/IMG_4432.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I added some thin striped ribbon as the tag topper and my Santa Belt tags were ready. I made a whole lot of these for my sale and I'm happy to say that they all sold out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="text-align: justify;">I made a lot of Christmas tags for my Christmas Craft Countdown and my projects for Day 28 is another set of tags. Once again t</span><span style="color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. </span></span><b style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><u>My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. </u></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;">They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-n6xa7EMriC8/Upoq7-lABrI/AAAAAAAAFOU/8pESReylOs8/s1600/IMG_4437.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-n6xa7EMriC8/Upoq7-lABrI/AAAAAAAAFOU/8pESReylOs8/s320/IMG_4437.jpg" width="240" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8DDUDzi8gNc/Upoq9si5JqI/AAAAAAAAFOk/9dMe_LtKKWY/s1600/IMG_4438.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8DDUDzi8gNc/Upoq9si5JqI/AAAAAAAAFOk/9dMe_LtKKWY/s320/IMG_4438.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My first batch is a Santa Hat tag. It's a shaped and flapped tag, different from my usual tag design. The reverse side of this tag can be glued on to the gift and the flap offers plenty of space to write personal messages. I added some fun embossing on the white bits to draw attention to them. Love how this turned out!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s__xisyLpWE/UporGb4agUI/AAAAAAAAFOw/cxVkeAOlwJo/s1600/IMG_4434.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="500" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s__xisyLpWE/UporGb4agUI/AAAAAAAAFOw/cxVkeAOlwJo/s640/IMG_4434.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My next group of tags is a steaming mug Christmas tag. Something about the cold at this time of year makes steaming mugs seriously christmassy. I once again put the swirls Sindhu sent me to good use as the steam and some pretty gold ribbon also added to the design.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UvSU4E8fwdU/UporGckrV2I/AAAAAAAAFOs/NsP3eFksQMs/s1600/IMG_4435.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UvSU4E8fwdU/UporGckrV2I/AAAAAAAAFOs/NsP3eFksQMs/s400/IMG_4435.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I often find that dry embossing makes cards look really quite elaborate and intricate and since it's so easy to do, I usually add a little to most of my creations. In this tag it was a Snowflake design. To see a card made using the same steaming cup theme, <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/2013/11/a-gingham-country-christmas-card.html">click here</a>.<br />

<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">My project for Day 27 is some really pretty red and white ornament cards. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div>
I think ornament cards are a fun way to send Christmas cards to friends and loved ones because once they receive it, they can hang it on their tree. I used some paper from the DCWV Evergreen stack and then jazzed up the whole card with lots of little crystal stickers.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Hh0guolZ-v8/UpoqV0if_vI/AAAAAAAAFNs/cxgllZ5Wg7I/s1600/IMG_4452.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Hh0guolZ-v8/UpoqV0if_vI/AAAAAAAAFNs/cxgllZ5Wg7I/s320/IMG_4452.jpg" width="286" /></a> </span><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3lNh7iDSj4E/UpoqWjJV3UI/AAAAAAAAFN0/8-udYhf4O8k/s1600/IMG_4453.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3lNh7iDSj4E/UpoqWjJV3UI/AAAAAAAAFN0/8-udYhf4O8k/s320/IMG_4453.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
The card has a flap and inside is etched - 'Seasons Greetings' perfect for this time of year. There's plenty of space to write your personal message and plenty of ribbon to comfortably hang it on your tree! At my sale at the Hundred Hands event, a lot of people purchased this not to to send to anyone but just to hang in their homes or on their own tree. Ha ha!<br />

<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: justify;">It's been a while since I've had a chance to update my blog on the Craft Countdown. I got really tied up with my Christmas sale and although I was crafting like crazy, I just couldn't find the time to blog about it. </span><span style="text-align: justify;">Once again t</span><span style="color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. To see my previous countdown projects, <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/search/label/Christmas%20Countdown%202013">click here</a>.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zHKydFIyxJ0/UpoplgZH0FI/AAAAAAAAFM8/MVPRVg4Itvs/s1600/IMG_4443.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zHKydFIyxJ0/UpoplgZH0FI/AAAAAAAAFM8/MVPRVg4Itvs/s400/IMG_4443.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
My project today is something I'm really proud of. I have made dining labels - labels that you can put beside each dish that you serve at a dinner party. They can also be used as a place-card to allocated dinner seats for each guest. Now I've made these before for the ItsyBitsy blog and but they were for one time use - and that's a lot of effort for just one party. So this time I figured out how to make them reusable.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ksCbE81kXQE/Upopl3Rz-4I/AAAAAAAAFNA/DBecL4HF1nM/s1600/IMG_4444.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ksCbE81kXQE/Upopl3Rz-4I/AAAAAAAAFNA/DBecL4HF1nM/s400/IMG_4444.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
My secret ingredient? - A layer of transparency sheet or OHP sheet just under the final red frame. This way the white card stock beneath would remain protected against anything written on the label. I could now scribble the title of the dish with a erasable marker or white board marker and then...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8d0GAYupQPY/UpoppPy_nAI/AAAAAAAAFNQ/v4uFiaxaPUA/s1600/IMG_4447.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8d0GAYupQPY/UpoppPy_nAI/AAAAAAAAFNQ/v4uFiaxaPUA/s400/IMG_4447.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
... erase it off using a sponge or napkin until....</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7QVcs4NbG4Y/UpoprHIh8-I/AAAAAAAAFNg/MxdC2CAEMHI/s1600/IMG_4449.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7QVcs4NbG4Y/UpoprHIh8-I/AAAAAAAAFNg/MxdC2CAEMHI/s400/IMG_4449.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
..... it was as good as new and ready to be used for the next dinner party! Hurray!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<i> </i>I made 30 of these labels and during my sale at the Hundred Hands event, these were the first to go! They were such a hit! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;">This is the box when it's closed. As always I keep the outside quite muted except for the huge bow. The colours and designs is all solid without any decoration. The idea is that once you open the box, the explosion is not just with the sides opening out but also with the blast of colour and design. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here's the box when the lid is opened. The sides all fall down to reveal a big oversized card measuring 12" by 12". I added a pattern paper with the title Happy Holidays so that I didn't have to add any text myself. Then I made spaces for 3 tag pockets in which I slipped three tags and 2 spaces for journaling. </div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here's a look at the 3D sleigh filled with gifts and beside it a view of the sleigh tag I made to coordinate with the theme of the box. Everything is cameo cut and as always I am delighted with the outcome of my Cameo Creations. </div>

I first made this sleigh towards the start of my countdown and <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/2013/11/day-7-of-sunehras-christmas-craft.html">you can view that post here</a>. I loved how Christmassy it was and how roomy and sturdy too! Perfect for displaying holiday candy in my house or for presenting goodies to my friends and neighbours. So I decided to make a few more and here they are all lined up in a row. </div>

This is the reverse side of the sleighs. I've added just a tiny rim of pearls on the back for a little bit of glam. It also came in handy to hide all the glue residue. The pattern paper on the sleighs is all from the DCWV Evergreen stack so it's really festive and fun.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0l3-61ZTYd8/UpGRiwaSeXI/AAAAAAAAFIU/lrOIhM-CgIA/s1600/3D+Sleighs+with+sunglasses.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="361" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0l3-61ZTYd8/UpGRiwaSeXI/AAAAAAAAFIU/lrOIhM-CgIA/s400/3D+Sleighs+with+sunglasses.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And to give you an idea of the size of the sleigh, here's a picture of one with my sunglasses lounging inside comfortably - see they're pretty big - about 6" long! So it's a really roomy and decorative paper craft creation. </div>

Got a quick post to share. I loved the theme at the <a href="http://www.theshabbytearoom.blogspot.in/2013/11/week-193-gingham-country-christmas.html">Shabby Tea Room this week </a>and since the collection is closing in just a couple of hours, I have a few moments to publish my card.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
The theme is Gingham Country Christmas and gratefully I had just a few scraps of Gingham paper in my stash. I was also thrilled to use the fabulous glitter swirls<a href="http://trappedincraft.blogspot.com/"> Sindhu </a>sent me for my win at her challenge. That's what I used to create the steam for the drink. As always, the inspiration photo is so delightful. Sharing it below.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Today is day 24 and once again I posting a day late. The projects were complete, photographed and ready to be shared but Saturday was a busy busy day - two birthdays parties to attend and the kids down with the flu meant that I couldn't share my Day 23 projects. Once again t<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. </span></span><b style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><u>My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. </u></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;">They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. To see my previous countdown projects, <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/search/label/Christmas%20Countdown%202013">click here</a>. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-37zp8d7Fe5A/UpGB5KF9tUI/AAAAAAAAFHk/YFGHE9LskW0/s1600/Gold+Bell+Tags+Group+shot.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="346" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-37zp8d7Fe5A/UpGB5KF9tUI/AAAAAAAAFHk/YFGHE9LskW0/s640/Gold+Bell+Tags+Group+shot.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Today I've made some tags without using the traditional red and green. Not that gold and silver is not Christmassy but somehow red and green is more so. I had this beautiful bell cut file in my Cameo library which I cut in some gold card stock. The same gold paper became the base layer of the tag and the white background is embossed with a gorgeous Merry Christmas design. I finished it off with a wispy satin lined ribbon which is again gold and I think the end result is quite pretty. Here is a closeup. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-t_qz73QFUY8/UpGB4lUwLOI/AAAAAAAAFHg/GHwP8kDqkEA/s1600/Gold+Bell+Tag+closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-t_qz73QFUY8/UpGB4lUwLOI/AAAAAAAAFHg/GHwP8kDqkEA/s400/Gold+Bell+Tag+closeup.jpg" width="307" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
For my second set I made silver and white the central theme of the tag. I found these pretty swirly reindeer cut file from www.birdscards.com and I glued it to the base white card stock using dimensional tape. A neat silver bow became my final touch and my 3 tags were ready.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-A2l0v-u_1D8/UpGB6FjzX6I/AAAAAAAAFH0/jsi5odbaYSM/s1600/Silver+Reindeer+tag.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="462" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-A2l0v-u_1D8/UpGB6FjzX6I/AAAAAAAAFH0/jsi5odbaYSM/s640/Silver+Reindeer+tag.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's a better look at the reindeer tag. Love those swirly antlers, don't you? This isn't the first time I have used this design. For my Rudolf explosion box, I used the same cut file for the Rudolf Tags. You can <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/">view it here</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-D3iYw1N2AGY/UpGB5Xe2KqI/AAAAAAAAFHo/0O-YkbNiamA/s1600/Silver+Reindeer+Tag+Closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-D3iYw1N2AGY/UpGB5Xe2KqI/AAAAAAAAFHo/0O-YkbNiamA/s400/Silver+Reindeer+Tag+Closeup.jpg" width="321" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I have to say that I am NOT AT ALL pleased with how these tags photographed. They both look much better in reality and I just couldn't capture it properly. I tried my best to make them look as they really do but I failed miserably. The gold is looking too harsh and the silver is looking too dull! #@$@#$#@!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Right, that's it for me. Stay tuned for my Day 24 post which I will publish later today. Thanks for stopping by!</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: justify;">Today I have another Explosion Box to share with you. This time the star of the project is our favourite reindeer Rudolf. Perfect for day 22 of my Christmas Craft Countdown. </span><span style="text-align: justify;">Once again t</span><span style="color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;">So the layout and design of my explosion box remains the same. You can view my<a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/search/label/Christmas%203D%20Gifts"> previous creations here</a>. But I do try to bring in a different theme for each creation. The theme is reflected in the colours, the tags and of course the central 3D element. In Rudolf's explosion box, the central 3D element of course is a 3D Rudolf complete with a red nose.</span><br />
<br />
<span id="goog_145438800"></span><span id="goog_145438801"></span><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ymkyE5DLdeM/Uo9QoxtruoI/AAAAAAAAFFs/bUqCR12MsaY/s1600/Rudolf+Explosion+box+-+Rudolf+closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ymkyE5DLdeM/Uo9QoxtruoI/AAAAAAAAFFs/bUqCR12MsaY/s320/Rudolf+Explosion+box+-+Rudolf+closeup.jpg" width="246" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zkuG5_cD5JU/Uo9QuMxOI0I/AAAAAAAAFGA/H78fMUy3WAI/s1600/Rudolf+explosion+box+-+Tag+focus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zkuG5_cD5JU/Uo9QuMxOI0I/AAAAAAAAFGA/H78fMUy3WAI/s320/Rudolf+explosion+box+-+Tag+focus.jpg" width="303" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I found the cutfile of the design online and cut it out on my Cameo. Gluing it wasn't easy I guess because it's a small reindeer, had it been bigger, it wouldn't have been so tiresome. The nose is a red pompom. Adorable isn't it! The Rudolf Tags too have a red nose, this time it's a crystal sticker. The cutfile is from www.birdscards.com, another free design.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C2lMCB7ROFU/Uo9QokkbDyI/AAAAAAAAFFo/zcfRiHBv5aA/s1600/Reindeer+Explosion+Box+.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C2lMCB7ROFU/Uo9QokkbDyI/AAAAAAAAFFo/zcfRiHBv5aA/s400/Reindeer+Explosion+Box+.jpg" width="328" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here's a look at the box when it's closed. Again it's completely muted and restrained so that it really explodes when opened - explodes literally as the box just opens up, explodes with colour and of course explodes with fabulous central features.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
That wraps Day 22. Just 8 days to go and many more great ideas in my mind. Looking forward to it all unfolding or maybe unraveling! Ha ha!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's the 21st day of my Christmas Craft Countdown and with it, I'm entering the final week of this challenge.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;">My project today is a bunch of snowflake tags. I made about five of them since that's how many would fit into one 12" by 12" sheet of card stock. This isn't the first time I've done a snowflake tag, you can <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/2013/11/day-5-of-sunehras-christmas-craft.html">view the previous one here</a>. </span><br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The picture below is a closeup of the tag. You can see here clearly that the snowflake itself is 3D. It's popping out of the tag nicely giving a lovely dimensional feel to the project. It's a dream to look at but a nightmare to store. Those snowflakes are all going to SMASHED by the time Christmas rolls around. Ha ha!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
That wraps up Day 21 of my Craft Countdown, can't believe I'm almost done with November. Seems like I just started this challenge like yesterday! It's been a blast and the best is yet to come!!<br />

More tomorrow and thanks for dropping by!<br />

It's the 20th of the month and I'm two-thirds done with my countdown. Can hardly believe it! Can you? <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: justify;">Today I have a really fun project to share with you. I was browsing through <a href="http://www.birdscards.com/">www.birdscards.com</a>, this treasure trove of free digital cutfiles and stamps, and then I came across this fabulous design - of Santa Stuck! The creator always offers all versions of the cut file so it was really easy downloading it to my Mac and then cutting it out on my Cameo. Here's the creation!</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3sUUzO_Bvb4/UoyH0T6PglI/AAAAAAAAFCo/ciwoh1x_pFs/s1600/Santa+Stuck+card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3sUUzO_Bvb4/UoyH0T6PglI/AAAAAAAAFCo/ciwoh1x_pFs/s320/Santa+Stuck+card.jpg" width="257" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GsF0NyFvpRk/UoyH0rtN7OI/AAAAAAAAFCs/4sUfvY-_e24/s1600/Santa+Stuck+card+open.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GsF0NyFvpRk/UoyH0rtN7OI/AAAAAAAAFCs/4sUfvY-_e24/s320/Santa+Stuck+card+open.jpg" width="233" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Isn't it just adorable? I just LOVE IT!!! It's not small, measuring about 4.5" by 6.5", perfect to slip into my standard size envelopes. I've added a photo of the card slightly open so you can understand the layout better. What do you think?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Linking the card to <a href="http://mimchallegeblog.blogspot.in/2013/11/santa-big-guy.html">Mim Challenge blog - Santa </a></div>

<br /></div>
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CFyU_bwNi6c/UoyHyswH83I/AAAAAAAAFCY/yG6-Vwf7Fac/s1600/Santa+Stuck+Tags.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="410" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CFyU_bwNi6c/UoyHyswH83I/AAAAAAAAFCY/yG6-Vwf7Fac/s640/Santa+Stuck+Tags.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;">I liked this 'Santa Stuck' theme so much that I decided to do a bunch of tags with the same design. The only difference is that the entire piece is glued with dimensional table on a base tag. I also added a ribbon in the centre. The tag is of course smaller than the card, measuring about 4" by 3".</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>

<br />
Isn't it just adorable? I can't stop looking at, so so so so pleased with this design. Gotta love <a href="http://birdscards.com/">Birdscards.com</a>! Such fantastic designs are all totally free! She's such a star!<br />

That wraps up Day 20. See you tomorrow folks!<br />

I've got a quick post for you today. It's day 19 of my countdown and I realised I have quite a few cards (almost 30) and not quite so many tags. So I decided to make a few more today to comply with my Countdown. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">My tags are based on a wreath card I made a few days ago which was very well received. You can <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/2013/11/day-11-of-sunehras-christmas-craft.html">view it here</a>. It's a simple enough layout but OMG, extracting those delicate leaves from my Cameo mat and gluing them down without making a mess was SUCH A JOB!!! Don't think I'll be making any more of these any time soon. Ha ha! </span></span><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">Here's a close up of the tag. I've embossed the background with a spotted design and added this intricate wreath as a centre feature. The little berries all over the wreath are little adhesive rhinestones. So convenient for such projects. </span></span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I am posting this one day late - I should have posted my project for day 18 yesterday and even though I managed to finish it and photograph it, I didn't get the chance to blog about it. I was all set to post it last night but then I dozed off while putting my kids to sleep!! Well better late than never. My countdown is in tact, woo hoo!!Once again t<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JyZsPYj13PA/UorS9WpJMTI/AAAAAAAAFAY/ZtjQ3xIsWdU/s1600/Christmas+tree+explosion+box+closed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JyZsPYj13PA/UorS9WpJMTI/AAAAAAAAFAY/ZtjQ3xIsWdU/s400/Christmas+tree+explosion+box+closed.jpg" width="361" /></a></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I've got another Christmas explosion box to share with you today. This time the central feature is a 3D Christmas tree. To see my previous creation which had a 3D Santa, <a href="http://craftingtillthecrackofdawn.blogspot.in/2013/11/day-14-of-sunehras-christmas-craft.html">click here</a>. The picture above shows the box when it's closed. I have kept it really really clean and simple on the outside so that the inside is even more explosive with all its colourful and 3D elements. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kggb90dmNNs/UorS9KqNMsI/AAAAAAAAFAU/Pa90WF8XKWQ/s1600/Christmas+tree+explosion+box+Tree+focus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kggb90dmNNs/UorS9KqNMsI/AAAAAAAAFAU/Pa90WF8XKWQ/s400/Christmas+tree+explosion+box+Tree+focus.jpg" width="375" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here's a closer look at the 3D tree. It's so simple to do. Just cut about 6 Christmas trees, fold them in the centre length wise and then glue the side of one to the side of another. I added some random pearls to create a snowy effect on the tree. Isn't that sweet?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_EgqA6jo7ME/UorS5_o2dfI/AAAAAAAAE_8/VGAovX_VdG4/s1600/Christmas+Tree+explosion+box+-+Tag+focus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_EgqA6jo7ME/UorS5_o2dfI/AAAAAAAAE_8/VGAovX_VdG4/s320/Christmas+Tree+explosion+box+-+Tag+focus.jpg" width="245" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yaGIRypBzTw/UorS6eIV5II/AAAAAAAAFAA/Mu44Vo3G_VI/s1600/Christmas+Tree+explosion+box+-+journaling+focus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yaGIRypBzTw/UorS6eIV5II/AAAAAAAAFAA/Mu44Vo3G_VI/s320/Christmas+Tree+explosion+box+-+journaling+focus.jpg" width="245" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On 3 of the sides of the box I have added a pocket with a tag and on 2 of the sides I have added an empty space for journaling or a photograph. Here's a look at both these components.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My idea behind an Explosion Box especially for Christmas is to convert an unimaginative gift like cash or a gift card into something quite exciting. Any of the pockets can be used to slip in the money or voucher and it can be presented in this fun and dimensional keepsake.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Day 18 done! Say you later today for my Day 19 projects which I have yet to begin! Ha ha!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I've got a quick post to share with you today. It's the weekend and there's only so much I can craft so to comply with my Countdown challenge, I made 4 pretty tags. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UL5wbq2HKAc/UohrsejWW3I/AAAAAAAAE-0/462DMPkbIik/s1600/3d+Bow+Tag.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="462" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UL5wbq2HKAc/UohrsejWW3I/AAAAAAAAE-0/462DMPkbIik/s640/3d+Bow+Tag.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I love paper bows, I think they give such a fun feel to any craft project. I am also addicted to this Merry Christmas embossing folder I picked up a week ago. I find myself turning to it, more often than not. So these two elements became the main focus of my project. Here's a close up of the tag </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I added a just a pop of green with some pretty ribbon and and my card was ready. I really like the end result. Dimensional tags are so much fun and are certain to add such a pretty feel to any Christmas gift. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">I'm going through a bit of a CAS phase at this stage of the countdown - I honestly find it more challenging to do something Clean and Simple as opposed to elaborate and heavily embellished. So today's projects are 3 CAS cards. Once again t</span><span style="color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">o recap, I've set myself a challenge for Christmas. </span></span><b style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"><u>My Countdown Goal is simple - Every day from November 1st to November 30th, I'm going to make 3 projects. </u></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;">They could be cards, tags, gift boxes, ornaments, whatever I want to complete but I have to complete at least 3 projects every day. <div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My first card is inspired by the sketch over at<a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.ae/2013/11/freshly-made-sketches-112.html"> Freshly Made Sketches 112</a>. It's a very interesting layout and as usual I wanted to put an original spin on it. I could only imagine Santa's sleigh speeding through the snow so that became the them of my card. All the lovely elements are Cameo cut. I also embossed the background with a snowflake design to coincide with the story of the card. The sketch follows my card.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My second card is based on <a href="http://casethissketch.blogspot.in/2013/11/case-this-sketch-54.html">CAS(E) This Sketch 54</a>. I've been wanting to do a Santa belt for the longest time and when I saw the sketch that's just what jumped to mind. The buckle is Cameo Cut and the sketch follows my card. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fvmGgeEITwg/Uoe3Cph41HI/AAAAAAAAE-A/6M0li9xZjQ8/s1600/Santa+Belt+Card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fvmGgeEITwg/Uoe3Cph41HI/AAAAAAAAE-A/6M0li9xZjQ8/s400/Santa+Belt+Card.jpg" width="308" /></a></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My third card is inspired by the muse's creation on <a href="http://casestudychallenge.blogspot.in/2013/11/case-study-challenge-166.html">Case Study Challenges 166</a>. I loved the pinwheel on her creation which follows my card and I decided to incorporate it into my card. I didn't want my card to be too dimensional so just with the red and green card stock, I created the pinwheel effect. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cKekgRn5zOg/Uoe3BIDlj6I/AAAAAAAAE90/3OAAkZje8mM/s1600/Pinwheel+Card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cKekgRn5zOg/Uoe3BIDlj6I/AAAAAAAAE90/3OAAkZje8mM/s400/Pinwheel+Card.jpg" width="340" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">Today I've got a simple but cute project to share with you. My Christmas Countdown is going great - making so many cards for the season. I love the idea of Ornament cards so I did them again, this time a different shape and design.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eKwqUnFscds/UoYivc24cHI/AAAAAAAAE7Q/lXNdDKjHeD8/s1600/IMG_4226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="514" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eKwqUnFscds/UoYivc24cHI/AAAAAAAAE7Q/lXNdDKjHeD8/s640/IMG_4226.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I made my ornaments the traditional round shape so that there can be no doubt that these are in fact ornaments and can hang on the tree once they're received. Once again there is a flap when opens so that you can write your message inside. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RiM4Y4zijzo/UoYi0eClASI/AAAAAAAAE7Y/N98AkpNBChc/s1600/IMG_4227.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RiM4Y4zijzo/UoYi0eClASI/AAAAAAAAE7Y/N98AkpNBChc/s400/IMG_4227.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here's how it looks when it's hanging up - my tree isn't up yet so I've hung it on a vase. Love the festive feel of the card. And it's not small - it measures 5" by 5". <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
That wraps up today's post. The weekend is coming up!! So I gotta get all my crafting down tonight!</div>
